ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal
ALEPH: An Alliance for Jewish Renewal: The parent/umbrella organization to a number of independent, but related, groups (including the NJRC). On its own, ALEPH publishes New Menorah, which is sent directly to ALEPH members. ALEPH also helps to support Reb Zalman and to ensure his legacy. An individual becomes an ALEPH member by paying a $36 "membership fee". In turn, that individual receives a subscription to New Menorah and other periodic mailings from ALEPH. ALEPH also sponsors a Professional Development (smicha) program, which trains future Jewish Renewal rabbis.

The Shalom Center: An organization which promotes tikkun olam (repair of the world) through projects that link Jewish texts and tradition with peace and environmental activism. R. Arthur Waskow, Director.
